A 20-Year Jackup Progression

“From the time I started on Lloyd Noble, I have been so lucky to have an awesome team of colleagues. We have always worked together as a team to collectively get a job done.”

Nikolaos spent his entire career working at sea. Starting from his native Greece on a fishing trawler while still a teenager, a mandatory two years in the Greek military, then on a variety of tug boats and supply vessels. Nikolaos began working at Noble in 1999 and worked in the North Sea his entire career. His first ten years were on standard jackups, with six years on the Noble Lynda Bossler and four years on the Noble Al White.

For the second ten years, Nikolaos transferred to modern, high-specification jackups. Four years were spent on the Noble Regina Allen and the last six years on the Noble Lloyd Noble. “Over my career, the rigs and drilling capability have grown so much. The size and complexity of the Noble Lloyd Nobleis hard to describe until you see it in person. It is an amazing rig!”
