>As the good book says, only a fool says in his heart, "There is no God"
Authenticity of many of those books is still in question. Ever think that Q might be quoting it ironically? I mean, Jesus sure did do a number on the old laws and their lawyers, didn't He? Then, they sacrificed him. Like their religion demanded.
>Think on that a sec.
>Have you ever told a lie?
Yes. Just like David.
>Have you ever stolen anything, in your entire life?
No.
>Have you ever wanted what someone else had?
Yes, but being from a poor background and having had things stolen from me, often, I've always tried to prioritize my actions to work towards earning my own.
>Have you ever wanted a woman married to another man?
No (or at least not that I know of), but I have had adulterous thoughts about women that weren't married. Never acted on it. Unlike others.
>Have you ever called a man a fool? wish he were dead? Prejudiced against anyone?
No. I'm way too foolish, myself, to think of someone else as a fool. I do get frustrated when someone doesn't seem to understand things I'm trying to show them, but I usually blame myself or my approach, and vent frustrations.
Yes. Think Clintons.
Yes; I have been deceived, in the past, just like many have. I'd like to think I've grown way past that, and abandoned that way of thinking, regardless of how I was raised to think of other people.
>Do you see how all of those things cause you to wish there is no universal justice?
Nope; doesn't even equate, actually. If the Bible is even remotely accurate, we're going to face some judgements and then we get some peace for a while, then they are going to let Satan out, again, for some reason, then everything gets obliterated, and we start anew, again.
Seems like a lot of unnecessary steps to reunification to God, in the end, but whatever. I don't make the rules, I just do my best to play by them.
