This is an asinine position to take. It implies that lockdown is the appropriate response to any communicable disease, so are we now to impose a seasonal lockdown for influenza as a matter of routine? Aside from that, Norway, Denmark, and Finland have populations of approximately 5.5 million; Sweden’s population is 10.2 million. All other things being equal, one would expect a higher death toll in Sweden. Then there are the matters of differing population densities and demographic characteristics.
Governments around the world were played by the public health establishments and their bullshit projections. No one should be justifying this disaster after the fact, and certainly not POTUS.
