This anon's theory is most of Q's images come from a very large repository hosted by a keeper of many records. You'll notice that if you upload a file called "myimage.jpg", in your post, it gets a new name. That's what 8kun does to the image name after upload.

The image is analyzed during upload and given that value to ensure that the same file isn't uploaded more than once. NSA database probably works the same way.
