Haha, im in the same boat. Had glaucoma when I was 22 years old. Took some experimental medicine which fixed it without needing surgery. Was lucky because my doctor said another day and I would have been blind completely. Hopefully small is used sparingly. I paired it with a high contrast color and added a bit of bold, hopefully its not so impossible to read. Cheers.
Going to change the formatting of small text to use dashes instead of commas.
