In Providence, RI. Parks where open a few days ago, 99% wearing no masks. People hanging out in small groups getting sun, having a good time. 1 police officer walking up and down telling people they can't sit, they can use the parks if they keep walking.
Went to the grocery store today, 99% wearing masks. I'm pretty sure a woman said something in Spanish about me not wearing one under her breath. Everyone acting skittish, like the masks and gloves will actually protect them & that human interaction is scary and potentially life threatening.
Lots of sheep holed up inside their houses, real people out enjoying spring.
