And to that I would add:
Father in Heaven, we have been gross sinners, but we cry out to you for your mercy and reformation. We don't deserve it, but your Mercy endures forever.
And God loves His Truth and His Word. He is righteous and just, and because His Love is centered around the Love of His Word, He defends it. That is why His Armor includes the Sword of the Spirit. It is two-edged, both delivering captives of sin and destroying the enemies of Truth.
God is not only Love, but He is also JUST. This is precisely why there is a Judgment Day.
Satan also presents himself as an angel of light. The only Sword that defends against this, is the Word of God–Jesus Christ's Testimony which is the Spirit of all prophecy, and His Faith that is a shield against the darts of lying devils appearing as angels of light.
Christ warned against having the light within one that is Darkness.
