There's moar to this Shawn Henry testimony.
1 - Answers the Congressman's question regarding the "conspiracy theory from so-called 'experts' that the files were directly downloaded" that he consulted with his team who are "top experts in the area" who said it was "not plausible". Doesn't elaborate. Commits a logical fallacy - appeal to authority.
2 - Admits that CrowdStrike has provided intelligence services to the FBI in the past UNDER CONTRACT.
3 - Describes the method under which an actor could mimic Russian intelligence by acquiring Russian command-and-control servers and specific malicious code.
Then dismisses the possibility as "not plausible" again without further explanation.
4 - Suggests that the DNC emails could have been copied by "taking screenshots". Congressman wonders how hundreds of thousands of emails could have been copied in such a manner in real time that ended up being released to the public.
If these are the bases for their conclusions, their arguments are flimsy as hell.
