So NJ lifelong resident here, I was sick as a dog in December 2019 so much so that I went to the doctor and got meds and cough medicine (prescription strength) to help with symptoms. Knocked me on my ass for about 2 weeks but didn't want to be sick for Christmas and I fully recovered. In another scenario, my Aunt who has cancer and is in a sort of remission has chemo treatments once a week for 6 to 8 weeks a few times a year was very ill with what they called a "viral lung infection" and had to quarantined in the hospital for over a week, face masks and all when she was released and told to stay home. She also recovered and is back to her treatments. I swear I had this Covid thing back then……just an fyi….
