Good Morning, deplorables
How y'all doing ?
I look forward to ruling over you after the 2020 elections
*some of you may experience unfortunate accidents afterwards

Cankles cackles: confirmed
You have to back up the backups every few years, or sooner
Digital degradation is impossible to stop: it's a real problem for Archivists
Entropy!

>Optical Storage
optical storage is good, but even disks degrade over time (disk rot)
also, will that bluray disk technology exist in 50 years to read them, if you wanted to pass the info on to your children ?
I have some old Iomega 100mb diskettes, but there is no way to read them, unless I find an old (rare) working Iomega disk drive
same with floppies
Technology moves too fast, when it comes to archiving on digital platforms
Even archives of Qanon posts for future reference in history lessons, may be lost to time
Well, it's not a slide
It's important to archive off line, as Q advises
Lots of info on the web has been memory-holed deliberately, and unless it's backed up, it's gone forever
