Obama vs. Trump

"Even though Joe Biden will be the nominee and Barack Obama’s name won’t be on the ballot, it’s beginning to look like the presidential race is going to be between Donald Trump and Barack Obama. The former president’s actions in the last several days are extraordinary and revealing.

Late last week, Obama held a conference call with 3,000 former members of his administration. Just think about that for a second. This was essentially a meeting of the Resistance that declared war on Donald Trump the day after he was elected. I’m sure it wasn’t the first such call.

A portion of last week’s call was selectively leaked to friendly media, and it involved a troubled Barack Obama telling these 3,000 left-wing warriors how concerned he was for the rule of law in America. He said:

The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn. And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free.

That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that … our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places."
