In what can only be described as an appalling move, the federal National Research Council of Canada is linking themselves to China to ‘test’ a vaccine in Canada.

As reported by the Globe & Mail, CanSino – a company linked to China’s Academy of Military medical Sciences – will be brought to Canadian soil to test out China’s Ad5-nCoV, the Chinese vaccine candidate.

Making the deal even more absurd, Canadian technology will be used on the vaccine, but even if it works, Canada won’t get any ‘revenue’, with all of it going to China.

Grenell announces creation of intelligence community 'cyber executive'

Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell on Friday announced the creation of an intelligence community (IC) “cyber executive” as part of other organizational changes.

According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the new position will “provide a single ODNI focus point for the cyber mission, which will strengthen the IC’s cyber posture to better defend U.S. national security interests.”

The cyber executive position will oversee four consolidated, previously separate ODNI cyber-focused organizations.

The ODNI did not immediately respond to The Hill’s request for comment on which four organizations would be combined, or whether an individual had been selected to fill the position.

The creation of the IC cyber executive comes after more than a year of staff and leadership review of organizational changes, according to the ODNI.

EXCLUSIVE: In court filing, FBI accidentally reveals name of Saudi official suspected of directing support for 9/11 hijackers

WASHINGTON — The FBI inadvertently revealed one of the U.S. government’s most sensitive secrets about the Sept. 11 terror attacks: the identity of a mysterious Saudi Embassy official in Washington who agents suspected had directed crucial support to two of the al-Qaida hijackers.

The disclosure came in a new declaration filed in federal court by a senior FBI official in response to a lawsuit brought by families of 9/11 victims that accuses the Saudi government of complicity in the terrorist attacks.

The declaration was filed last month but unsealed late last week. According to a spokesman for the 9/11 victims’ families, it represents a major breakthrough in the long-running case, providing for the first time an apparent confirmation that FBI agents investigating the attacks believed they had uncovered a link between the hijackers and the Saudi Embassy in Washington.

Ramadan Rage: Jihadis Kill 290, Injure 280 in First Two Weeks of Holy Month

Jihadis, primarily Afghan Taliban terrorists, have carried out nearly 100 attacks in 16 countries since the beginning of Ramadan at the end of last month. In the process they have killed at least 290 people while injuring 280 others in the first two weeks of the holiest month for Muslims, a Breitbart News count shows.

That means, on average, Islamic terrorists have executed about 21 people and maimed an estimated 20 others since Ramadan began at sunset on April 23. This year, Muslims expect the holy month to last through sundown on May 23.

Breitbart News’ count begins on the first full day of Ramadan on April 24. This report covers the two weeks of April 24 through May 7.

In total, there were at least 570 casualties, including fatalities and injuries, during the first half of Ramadan.

This year, the casualties during the first two weeks of the holy month are lower than during the same period in 2019, when jihadis killed 364 people and wounded 404 others. While the number of fatalities dropped by slightly over 20 percent from 2019 to this year, the injuries experienced a larger decrease of more than 30 percent.

Overall, the total number of casualties during the first half of Ramadan dropped by over 25 percent, from 768 last year to 570 in 2020.

'He Would Like to Be a Dictator': Soros Slams Trump, Urges Caution in US Cooperation With China

As Soros reportedly explained, the US must strive to protect its “democratic open society” while at the same time searching for a way to cooperate with China on battling climate change and the coronavirus threat.

Billionaire and philanthropist George Soros has voiced his thoughts on relations between the United States and China amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In his recent interview with the German newspaper Augsburger Allgemeine, Soros remarked that while the current tensions between Beijing and Washington might complicate efforts to deal with the COVID-19 crisis, closer relations between the two countries is probably not something he'd advise.

"There are a lot of people who say we should be working very closely with China (on tackling the crisis) — but I am not in favor of doing that," he said as quoted by CNBC. "We must protect our democratic open society. At the same time, we must find a way to cooperate on fighting climate change and the novel coronavirus. That won't be easy."

Claiming that “many well-educated Chinese are deeply angry at the party leadership for hiding the coronavirus for so long", Soros went on to criticize the political reforms enacted by China's President Xi Jinping.

Stretched, secret supply chains hold Covid-19 patients' lives in the balance

As more coronavirus patients were admitted to intensive care, Drayton Hammond, a clinical pharmacist in Chicago, Illinois, frantically tried to order more sedatives. At one point, his hospital was down to a single day’s supply of propofol, one of the main anaesthetics used to keep Covid-19 patients comfortable while they’re connected to ventilators in intensive care. The hospital’s use of this drug had increased fivefold since the pandemic hit, forcing them to ration supplies and use alternative drugs with worrying side effects.

“There’s a grave anxiety,” Hammond said. “You’re accepting that you may be putting people at greater risk for complications.”

Only 40 miles from the hospital is the US headquarters of Fresenius Kabi, a pharmaceutical company which makes the majority of the 12m vials of propofol administered to patients in the US every year. This cloudy white liquid, known as “the milk of amnesia”, is the most widely used intravenous anaesthetic in the world. It has also become a key drug in treating the most severe cases of Covid-19. As it is used to ventilate patients, demand across the world has skyrocketed.

When former president Barack Obama told supporters last week that the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against former White House National Security Adviser Mike Flynn is a “threat to the rule of law,” he was relying wholly on the fiction, willingly propagated for years by a pliant media, that the Russia-Trump collusion probe launched by his administration was lawful and legitimate.

But of course it wasn’t. A string of recently released documents have confirmed that the entire Russia-Trump investigation, which eventually entrapped Flynn and forced then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself, was an unprecedented abuse of power that amounted to organized effort by the Obama administration to nullify the results of the 2016 presidential election. It was in effect an attempted coup.

If you haven’t picked that up from the news media, it’s not your fault. Instead of grappling with the implications of newly released details about what Obama officials were doing to undermine the incoming Trump administration during the transition, the mainstream media have fixated on Trump’s use of the term “Obamagate,” dismissing it as a conspiracy theory.
