None of this changes the fact that Russia is our natural ally, and that we are hopefully working through what went before in this matter, even as both nations see that the ground has been moved from beneath the world we all knew, that literally everything is on the table for all of humanity, and that resolute vigilance & readiness to shift position with circumstance, are all required.
