ANOTHER HCQ
I am a RA and Lupus patient taking HCQ.
There was never a worry about my heart, even though I'd had a "heart event" or "heart attack" (docs not sure) BEFORE starting it. I also have/had an irregular ST wave, too. Still no concern from docs.
The ONLY thing I have to check when taking for YEARS is a once a year eye exam. After many years of taking, it can cause a fairly rare side effect of hurting your retinas. My eye doc says he hasn't seen it happen and wouldn't expect it until at least 4-5 years, minimum.
I take the same dosage given for this virus. It is heart protective for Lupus patients whose bodies attack their hearts, lungs, kidneys, etc.
Studies like the sham VA were designed to fail. It's a cocktail best used when symptoms start. But without zinc, zith or another antiviral - it won't be very effective. Have to read HOW it works to understand. So they gave it to VA people already sick enough to be hospitalized and didn't add an antiviral - not even zinc. Duh. And they gave 30% of controls azithromyacin and left them in the control! No honest doc would ever peer review this sham study.
It's all about money. A lot of people stand to make a fortune off Remdesivir at over $1000 per injectable dose. It's given in hospital. So if HCQ keeps you out of the hospital….

Note - no one in US bothered to check with Rheumatologists and report, but Italy did:
The Italian Society for Rheumatology studied 65,000 patients on longterm hydroxychloroquine for RA and Lupus.
Only 20 patients tested positive for COVID-19. No ICU, no deaths.
