I'm going to add that whatever spot it is that Joe Scarborough occupies in the house of cards, it's important enough to bring a lot more down with it.

Doesn't make sense to me. It's not a lock she'll deliver GA EVs, so why waste a VP pick. VP should guarantee at least a battleground state.

My SWAG says pence goes because of the Flynn fallout. Specifically, I think Pence's involvement with the fake Kislyak call transcript that got Flynn fired will be enough to warrant a VP replacement, and Trump will pick Nikki Haley.

I don't think any woman them dems throw out there can handle Haley. A Haley vs Abrams/Mike/Oprah/Whitless/Clinton debate would be a live & in color vivisection, with Haley wielding the scalpel.

Bottom line wrt POTUS/Sessions, IMO.

POTUS will stand up for his employees if they were wronged. Sessions's actions caused wholesale financial and reputational damage to people POTUS brought into his administration.

There is no overwhelming evidence Sessions had to recuse. That recusal damaged a lot of people POTUS had asked to work for him in his administration.

No way POTUS says, "No biggie", to Sessions when Sessions wants to waltz back in to his former job without the repercussions Sessions inflicted upon other POTUS hires. Ain't gonna' happen.

Sessions has to pay, otherwise, who would want to work for Trump going forward? Payback's a bitch. POTUS's tweets against Sessions are going after Sessions's courage, credibility and competence. Absolutely brutal. No ulterior motives involved. Sessions fucked over Trump's people, and Trump will make sure that fucking over is repaid in full.

Agree here.

Look at Mueller, for example. Dems figured all along POTUS would fire Mueller. Mueller kept doing more outrageous shit to try to get fired. It ended up biting Mueller and the dems in the ass.

Fauci went on the talk shows hoping to say the perfect thing to get himself fired for 'trying' to protect the US people. Same fate awaits Fauci as it did Mueller.

Same with the Govs. They keep pushing the envelope with outrageous edicts hoping they get overruled by POTUS, then they can blame him for endagering the safety of their citizens.

I saw an article the other day that claimed that Lori K had arranged a meeting with Scarborough and constituents for 8 AM on the day she was found dead by those same constituents who arrived for the meeting.

Scarborough, however, was in DC, not in his FL office at that time.

Big, if true.
