As you may know, just like Timothy points out, our faith only belongs in God. We are told no where in the Bible to place our faith in man. In fact the Bible says the opposite.

God knew that Cain would use his free will to murder Abel yet God did not stop Cain because God did not create robots though He could have easily. Cain was 100% guilty of murder.
