Possible loophole with the language in the gold standard bill…
FRNs will be exchanged at a fixed rate, but the bill doesn't mention coinage (which will take some work to produce, rework counting machines to accept, etc.)
It might not hurt to save your change in the hope coins would transfer at a 1:1 ratio to Ag instead of a 1:X ratio.
