"Police on scene in Glasgow as man stabbed days after hotel knife attack"
Police rushed to the scene of a knife attack in Glasgow city centre on Sunday, just days after a stabbing at a nearby hotel left six injured and the attacker dead.
According to local police the incident on the city's Argyle Street was a "targeted attack," and not linked to Friday's stabbing incident at the Park Inn Hotel.
The perpetrator of the hotel stabbing was identified by police as Badreddin Abadlla Adam, who came from Sudan, on Saturday.
The six wounded people remain in hospital, and reportedly include three asylum seekers who were being housed at the Park Inn Hotel, two members of hotel staff, and one police officer.
