Still having much “fun” (Pain is our fren. Right?) searching star charts and stars. A fun fact: The PYXIS constellation stands for Pyxis Nautica (Mariner’s Compass). Has also been a part of the Mast on the constellation Argo. “We are on a ship.”

Could the Anon who is proficient in Stellarium be willing to provide any feedback on the PYXIS theory at this time? As much as I would love for it to be the solution, am much interested in anon’s feedback on PYXIS. Is it high enough on the horizon? On seeing three stars below it that appear could be the same stars discredited as Orion’s belt, would like Anon’s best assessment of both constellations if Anon is willing. Was there ever a good match for Orion? Pyxis? Let’s throw off any of our preconceived timeframes and start fresh. Best dates for viewing. Does StellariumAnon have any personal theories?

Anon, at one time you asked that we make observations and give input. I came across an interesting vid on Ytube of a drive across London at night. Period of interest is 23:00 to 29:00mins when driver turns onto Victoria Embankment and also onto Northumberland.

Hope you find it useful but it’s apparent you may have see every vid there is out there.

My observation of the video. I saw lots of bicyclists on the Embankment riverside path. Also, lorries and motorcycles, including the type of motorcycles that act as messenger or delivery service. My observation is that this video shows normal traffic at an earlier “business hours” time. I can see no lorries or motorcycle delivery vehicles or recreational bicyclists in the London Embankment pics. One could surmise the pics are after such traffic is no longer on the road. Think I found one. How about if this private hire was a privately owned bus acting as a “shuttle” for its luxury hotel patrons? This bus? It’s parked on Northumberland. In front of the Corinthia Hotel. The bus is not in service and no lights are on. Whoever owns this private-hire has permission to leave it there in the bus stop area.

Corinthia Hotel? Did we find a moving part? These pics are caps from the vid I just posted. The bus is on Northumberland. There is also a very sleek refurbished old black classic bus just up the way but it looks like still in front of the CH footprint.

Precisely. I believe anon was looking for connections, however small, with the Piccadilly Circus red bus pic. The vid above shows the red bus obviously out-of-service for the night, and parked there with apparent permissions.

The implied idea I guess would be that the location is the starting point or headquarters for that tour bus company. If it is an on-and-off type of tour then it will eventually make its way back to its home stop. We have evidently found a private hire red bus with its home base near the Corinthia that surely must make its way to Piccadilly if it’s doing those other stops. Maybe alternate route. When I was in Paris a couple of times, they had different color routes of the on-and-off buses. You could jump on any one you liked.

About those CH pics. The two night photos appear not to be taken close together time-wise. One has pedestrians. Then none. The twilight CH pic appears to be in the morning, with a slight sheen of morning dew on the sidewalk area to the left. Morning pic taken after a long evening at hotel and targets leaving?

In the CH pic with no pedestrians visible (and from a lower angle), the reflexion of a green traffic light off the passing car in the foreground shows it was taken on a corner of that street that peels off Northumberland. It appears there are shopping venues in that side street as, in that 4K London vid, there were also pedestrians crossing from that direction with shopping bags, as in the CH pic with pedestrians crossing from that direction also shows.

More differences noted in the CH night time pics. A doorway on the adjacent building behind the garden. Observe in one pic the sidelight to the doorway is dark. In the other pic a light is seen coming from the sidelight, and also something red outside next to the door. An object placed there?

Different time? Enough for something red to suddenly be there. And something else that is red, behind the passing car? Doesn’t look like a reflection. Another car passing? Can’t tell.

Do the London trains stop running after a certain hour. In Paris, they stopped after a certain hour. In that 4K London vid, some people crossing from direction of Charring Cross? Relative to CH pics with people crossing street, then pic with maybe one pedestrian near bike rack, then morning with lots of people again. But, I assume, most leaving the area of the Corinthia by bicycle, train, bus or car(one seen leaving).

Anon, sometimes ya lose me. I think that you, being a videographer, may have developed a sense of timing and movement superior to “average” anons who do not watch and edit vids with the scrutiny you do. I’m gonna re- look at vids and re-read your posts this bread. To be honest, I had never scrutinized them like you are doing, so I am tryna keep up. I have been wrong about the sequence of the 2487 and Rot1. Maybe because of the difficulty to get a COMPLETE pics match on Qmap.pub when you search it. One of the reasons that I was fooled into thinking that the “solitary couple”were a split off of the target group is for the reason that Q included a pic in which you can’t see the “targets”- just the pedestrian couple. So, as in movie cinematography, you have what are called “establishing” shots. None of the actors are seen. The shot may be of a recognizable city skyline, then the outside of a building. These shots establish where you are, or can establish time passing. In at least this one pic, Q is establishing maybe time, or maybe, as you pointed out, a car(with security detail) tailing while their bosses “take a stroll”?

Will try to keep up with you on movements. Am thinking though that the CH pics have no continuity but are rather documentation of more remote, singular events, such as one or more targets as they arrive/leave during the night. The one in morning gives me the feeling of an “all nighter” ending and people/cars leaving.

It’s the nature of the board. Lots diff from talking in person. So, points are sometimes missed. But understand, that if I can’t understand, it’s not disagreement. Just haven’t made connections yet. As said before, disagreements might occur on some things about who but we mostly agree to see what we can see.
