You are correct freedom of the press applies to info, factual data, as in news. Propaganda is/ are not facts. You can dispense propaganda as art or opinion but that doesn't make it fact or news. With that logic the MSM is out of business as far a s protection under free press is concerned. Art promoted as fact or opinion promoted as the same is how they have been able to go around penalties if any. Blame the Dept of Education as to where all of the fundamental problems have started in understanding the difference. MSM "knowingly" "planned", "orchestrated" and "conspiring" to feed the public outright lies and promoting them as fact continuously to influence an election for one party or candidate would or could be considered interference or tampering via taking advantage and misuse of "freedom of press".
