I was trying to take a break from social media today, but just over heard Scott Adams (my wife was listening to him) say that the Trump Campaign is officially over because of a Trump tweet?!? WTF? I guess it was deleted, but I didn’t see anything in the notables or on wearethene.ws, so just wondering what I am supposed to say when I open my FB to see the blowback that I expect from liberal friends that I have been trying to wake for the past month! Drug Cartel Sent 4 Squads to Kill Mexico City’s Top Cop, Say Authorities

 

Four teams of gunmen from Mexico’s Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion carried out a brazen assassination attempt against the top security official in Mexico City. The gunmen wounded their target while killing two other police officers and one innocent bystander.

 

The attack took place on Friday at 6:38 a.m. in Mexico City when a group of gunmen ambushed Public Security Chief Omar Garcia Harfuch as he traveled in an armored SUV. The gunmen used several vehicles in the attack. They utilized a variety of weapons, including .50 caliber rifles, several machine guns, grenades, and smoke grenades. The gunmen not only shot Harfuch and his security detail but fatally wounded an innocent motorist.

 

“Two elements lost their life in the line of duty, our condolences for their family, they have the full support of the Mexico City government,” said CDMX Head of Government Claudia Sheinbaum during a news conference on Saturday. “Also, our condolences to the woman who lost her life in the attack, again they all have the full support of Mexico City.”

 

According to Sheinbaum, Mexico city police rushed to the scene within minutes of the attack — facing off against the gunmen and arresting 12 of them. Hours later, authorities managed to arrest seven other individuals tied to the attack.

 

“It was a failed operation”, Sheinbaum said of the attack. “Our secretary (Harfuch) is doing well and has more energy than before. We will not back down.”

 

Harfuch took to social media on the day of the attack to blame Mexico’s Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG). The public official claimed to have been struck three times and injured by shrapnel as well.

Newly released State Department memos reveal that the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings landed a deal with an Obama administration renewable energy program. Burisma signed the deal with the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Municipal Energy Reform Project in Ukraine (MERP) in October 2014. A copy of this agreement was obtained by Just The News.

 

There are several troubling details about this deal that support the belief that Hunter Biden was selling access and influence with the Obama administration. Let’s look at the facts:

The deal was made soon after Hunter Biden joined the board at Burisma

 

Hunter Biden got his lucrative position on the board of Burisma Holdings in May 2014, despite having no experience in the field. His only qualification was that his father was the vice president of the United States and was Obama’s point man for U.S. relations with Ukraine. Despite Hunter Biden’s lack of qualifications, he made between $80,000 and $166,000 a month, sparking allegations that he was selling access to the White House. Burisma’s MERP deal with the Obama administration was made six months after Hunter Biden joined their board. Are we really supposed to believe that was just a coincidence?

The timing of the deal is also noteworthy because when the deal was signed Burisma was the subject of two separate corruption investigations into the company’s alleged financial schemes. One investigation was by the British government and the other by the Ukrainian government. Burisma’s notorious corruption would have been enough of a red flag to avoid entering into a deal with them, but being the subject of two corruption investigations raises even more questions about how that deal could have possibly been approved without the Biden connection.

A petition to fire Cambridge professor Priyamvada Gopal, who was promoted after tweeting that “White Lives Don’t Matter. As white lives”, has been removed by Change.org after receiving over 20,000 signatures.

 

Professor Gopal posted her provocative “White Lives Don’t Matter. As white lives” message around the same time as Burnely Football Club supporter Jake Hepple had a banner reading “White Lives Matter Burnley!” flown over a match at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, shortly after three white people were stabbed to death in Reading, England.

 

Hepple was fired for the stunt, with Blackpool Airport and the local government authority which operates it also saying they were “outraged” by the banner and branding its message “offensive”.

 

Professor Gopal, meanwhile boasted that the University of Cambridge — which defended her right to express “lawful opinion”, although it has previously cut ties with academics attacked by left-liberal mobs — had actually promoted her after the controversy around her tweet.

 

More than 20,000 people had signed a Change.org petition calling for her to be fired for what it described as “racist and hateful” statements — before it was taken down.

 

The professor had claimed she was “not personally especially fussed” by the petition — describing the comments attached to it as “a wonderful tale of white supremacy triggered” — but suggested that “those who wish to report the ‘petition to Cambridge’ to fire me can be reported to change.org for harassment [sic]” and later told people where to find the link to do so.

Members of the climate change alarmist group Extinction Rebellion occupied runways at Paris Orly Airport on Friday, interrupting flights and demanding domestic air travel be cancelled.

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Killeen police are investigating after “unidentified remains” were found Saturday afternoon in a field.

 

The remains were discovered in the 3400 block of Florence Road around 1:33 p.m.

 

According to police, witnesses told officers they had located “some kind of unidentified remains.”

 

The area is walking distance from a location in the 3200 block of Florence Road where skeletal remains of Gregory Wedel-Morales were found on June 19. It is unclear if Saturday’s discovery is connected.

 

“The remains will be sent to the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas to determine if they are human or animal,” police said in a statement.

 

No other details were released.

“This could be the last time President Donald Trump uses Stones songs. Despite cease & desist directives to Donald Trump in the past, the Rolling Stones are taking further steps to exclude him using their songs at any of his future political campaigning. The Stones’ legal team is working with BMI. BMI has notified the Trump campaign on behalf of the Stones that the unauthorized use of their songs will constitute a breach of its licensing agreement. Deadline reported the Stones’ publishing company ABKCO was working with BMI and reported the contractual clause BMI is citing:

Federal prosecutors brought extortion charges Friday against the man whose arrest this week sparked violence and destruction in the capital city.

 

U.S. Attorney Scott Blader filed the charges against Devonere Johnson, alleging he threatened to bash windows of downtown businesses unless employees gave him money.

 

Blader also alleges Johnson, 28, threatened to “shut down and destroy” another business unless Johnson and his friends were provided free food and drinks.

 

In one restaurant, Johnson allegedly brought a boombox indoors and refused to turn it down. When the owner told Johnson he donated money to a group supporting the Black Lives Matter campaign, Johnson asked what he had done “locally.”

 

Ultimately, Johnson allegedly told the owner “give me money or we’ll break windows,” according to the criminal complaint.

 

Johnson entered another bar and allegedly asked for free food and drinks or else the bar would be “marked,” according to the complaint.

 

“You don’t want 600 people to come here and destroy your business and burn it down. The cops are on our side,” according to the complaint, which included interviews with the bar owner about what Johnson allegedly said. “You notice that when you call them, nothing happens to us.”

Johnson, also known as Yeshua Musa, is a Madison activist who has been present at every protest following Floyd’s death. He was arrested outside a Capitol square restaurant on Tuesday after he brought a baseball bat and a bullhorn into the tavern and shouted at customers.

 

The arrest sparked hundreds to march in Madison’s downtown streets seeking Johnson’s release from jail. The demonstrations turned violent and threatening as protesters entered a private condo building and forced a driver from a car, and assaulted at least two people — including a state senator.

“As everyone’s world has obviously changed, so has ours,” he wrote, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. “I still remember the early days of Texas Roadhouse back in the mid-1990’s, when three of our first five stores failed. Survival mode was where I lived for quite a few years.

“Well, damn, if I didn’t find myself right back there again. Five restaurants have become 600 and 400 employees have become 75,000+. Back then in my mid-30’s, our Roadies were close to my age, and I thought of our company as a people company that happened to serve steaks. We were a family.

  • I'm elaborating on things including the Shane allegations/clips on my Instagram story (@msblairewhite). I COMPLETELY agree with those of you questioning how I feel about certain clips surfacing from Shane when I have a channel that focuses on busting predatory behavior. I've attacked others for less. Trump Plans to Cut Another 4,000 US Troops From Afghanistan

Under the US peace deal with the Taliban, the US was to get troop levels in Afghanistan down to 8,600 by mid-July. Drawdowns have been ahead of schedule, and by last week, officials announced they’d already reached 8,600.

 

That’s not the end of it, and reports are that President Trump has finalized a plan to withdraw another 4,000 or so US troops from the country, with the goal of getting things down to 4,500 remaining by autumn. This would be the lowest US troop level in Afghanistan since the 2001 invasion and occupation.

 

The State Department had long said cuts below 8,600 would be conditions-based, and it wasn’t expected there would be more drawdowns so soon. President Trump was interested in a drawdown for the sake of the election, and probably will emphasize this cuts in the campaign.

 

Depending on election strategy, this might mean that the troops lefts after this will probably be staying at least until the vote, since it allows the administration to argue that they hadn’t “rushed” to leave Afghanistan but are still drawing down at an impressive rate, as circumstances allow.

St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson has apologized after reading the names and partial addresses of at least 10 protesters calling to defund the police during a Facebook Live briefing on coronavirus.

 

Those calling for her resignation accused the mayor of intimidating protesters through “doxxing,” the Internet-based practice of publishing someone’s personal information as a vehicle for revenge via the violation of privacy.

 

In a statement Friday evening, Krewson, a Democrat, apologized for causing any “distress or harm to anyone” but said the names and streets the protesters lived on were already “public information.”

 

“Tonight, I would like to apologize for identifying individuals who presented letters and comment cards to me at City Hall as I was answering a routine question during one of my updates earlier today. Can leftists and conservatives of our modern era peacefully coexist within the same society? If someone asked me this question only ten years ago I would have said “Sure, it’s possible”. Today, the answer is a resounding “No way”. City Council members in Minneapolis who recently voted to disband their city’s police department are getting $4,500 a day in private security after threats were received in their offices.

 

Council members Andrea Jenkins, Phillipe Cunningham, and Alondra Cano are outspoken proponents of efforts to defund the Minneapolis Police Department. All are now receiving protection from a private security contractor, paid for by the taxpayer.

Cunningham did respond to Fox 9’s request for comment, telling the outlet through a text message that, “I don’t feel comfortable publicly discussing the death threats against me or the level of security I currently have protecting me from those threats. Their paranoid mistrust of the police must be so profound that they don’t report threats serious enough that they need armed guards to shepherd them around?

I don’t begrudge politicians being protected – as long as the threat is real. That’s why we have a police force – to investigate the threats and see if they’re serious. That Jenkins and the others never reported any threats is not only dumb on their part but calls into question just how real and serious any threats might be.

 

Do these politicians realize the heavy irony in calling to defund police while needing protection?

 

Other city officials across the country faced criticism for using private security while railing against their police departments. Democratic Los Angeles City Council President Nury Martinez, for instance, reportedly used police officers as security over the past two months while calling for the department to be defunded.

 

There is a disturbing aura of entitlement surrounding politicians of all ideological and political stripes. It’s turned the world upside down, where people we hire to serve us end up making us serve them.

 

It’s not the way it’s supposed to be. But as government gets larger, the arrogance of public servants becomes more pronounced. They don’t see themselves as “public servants” anymore. They see themselves as rulers and us as servants.

Chris Hansen, the former host of “To Catch a Predator,” said he will investigate a wave of sexual assault allegations against Dahvie Vanity, the former lead singer of the electro-pop band Blood on the Dance Floor.

 

Hansen’s recent announcement follows two earlier investigative reports by HuffPost, in which 21 women came forward with accusations of sexual abuse, including vaginal and anal rape, groping and forced oral sex, against the singer. Several said they were underage at the time of the alleged assaults.

 

The 35-year-old musician, whose real name is Jesus David Torres, has yet to face any legal consequences for his alleged sex crimes. He admitted to statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl in Florida in 2007, according to a police report that HuffPost exclusively obtained, but officers let him off with a warning because the girl was reluctant to cooperate.

 

Since then, allegations have continued to pour in.

 

As the host of “To Catch a Predator,” an NBC series that ran from 2004 to 2007, Hansen confronted alleged sexual predators who attempted to groom young children online. He now has his own YouTube program, “Have a Seat With Chris Hansen.” The program has taken off in recent months as Hansen has investigated YouTuber “Onision,” whose real name is James Jackson and who is accused of preying on young girls.

 

In an interview last month with YouTuber “Repzion,” Hansen said he has his sights set on Torres.

 

“In fact, Dahvie Vanity is on our radar,” Hansen said. “I promise you we’ll take a good hard look at it and we’ll be tackling that topic as we move forward with all of these investigations.”

 

Late last year, Hansen’s team approached HuffPost, whose articles ran in December 2018 and April 2019, expressing a desire to investigate Torres. But conversations fell through after Hansen’s producer, Vincent Nicotra, was accused of harassing sources involved in the investigation. Nicotra was later fired and has now filed a complaint accusing Hansen of harassment. Hansen called the complaint a “nuisance” in a video and said he is “absolutely not” worried about it.

 

Hansen did not immediately respond to a request for comment from HuffPost.

 

In the past few weeks, multiple popular YouTubers have been discussing Torres’ alleged crimes, citing HuffPost’s monthslong investigations.

 

In April of last year, following HuffPost’s exposé, Spotify removed all Blood on the Dance Floor music from its website, citing its guidelines on prohibited content. Torres has never responded to HuffPost about the many assaults he is accused of and previously told a HuffPost reporter that he would “call the police” when confronted at his parents’ Florida home, where he now lives.

The Good News About COVID-19 the Corporate Media Keeps Hidden

 

As the pandemic panic porn continues because identified cases are rising, Dr. Fauci is back on television, and the media is once again demanding a national response. However, there is news they don’t share with you that could help reduce the already unwarranted levels of fear. Obviously, that doesn’t fit their partisan agenda.

 

Many commentators have noted that rising case numbers are not necessarily a reason to sound the alarm. The fear with COVID-19 was always of overwhelming the hospital system. The correct numbers to look at are COVID-19 hospitalizations, the percent of positive tests, and the age breakdown for severe disease.

COVID-19 Severity

 

A doctor from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center said in a press conference Wednesday that people who are testing positive do not appear to be getting as sick as they did earlier in the pandemic. Dr. Donald Yealy also noted this trend was being seen in the wake of massive protests.

 

He suggested the country is focusing too much on rising COVID-19 case counts.

 

“We need to change our mindset and focus not exclusively on the number of cases, but on the severity of illness. We shouldn’t just be counting those who have a diagnosed infection,” Yealy said. “For the vast majority of people testing positive, their illness is mild, or they don’t even know they have any symptoms of COVID-19 infection.”

 

Dr. Yealy also noted that the positive case rate was about one in 400, which has remained steady for weeks. He also noted improved treatment protocols and some success with Remdisivir and other medications. Effective treatment is in addition to some success protecting the elderly and a much younger patient load testing positive.

 

“In summary, what our experience shows is that fewer people are being admitted, and when they are, they tend to be much less sick than at the beginning or at the peak phases of the pandemic.”

 

Hydroxychloroquine

 

Professor Harvey Risch, M.D., Ph.D., is a researcher at the Yale School of Public Health with a specialty in cancer etiology, prevention and early diagnosis, and epidemiologic methods. He recently surveyed research on the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc, concluding that they should be made widely available for use in the pandemic.

 

In explaining his findings, he noted that COVID-19 causes two different diseases. First is a nasty upper respiratory infection, and then it morphs into viral pneumonia. He only looked at studies where the treatment was given early in the onset and found it was effective. Specifically, he recommended it be given in the first five or six days of symptoms, especially to those over 60 or with a preexisting condition.

 

As many clinicians using the drug combination have been asserting, it is effective in preventing progression if given early and outpatient. Several have reported that even if a patient has mild shortness of breath, it reduces the severity of the illness.

Early outpatient illness is very different than later hospitalized florid disease and the treatments differ. Evidence about use of hydroxychloroquine alone, or of hydroxychloroquine+azithromycin in inpatients, is irrelevant concerning efficacy of the pair in early high-risk outpatient disease. Five studies, including two controlled clinical trials, have demonstrated significant major outpatient treatment efficacy.

 

This article was written on May 27, 2020. When asked why he thought the drug was so controversial, he said:

 

I think that there has been confusion about treating the cold versus treating the pneumonia. These medications don’t seem to work so well for treating the pneumonia. As early as possible is crucial, within the first five to six days of symptoms.

Of course, this only remains a paradox to the degree that one is committed to the belief in such a thing as “The American Empire”.

I am in no way saying that America has not acted like an empire in recent decades, nor am I romantically trying to whitewash America’s historic tendencies to support colonization and defend systemic racism.

 

What I am saying is that there are demonstrably now, just as there have been since 1776, TWO opposing dynamics operating within America, where only one is in alignment of the ideals of the Constitution and Declaration of independence while the other is entirely in alignment with the ideals of the British Empire and hereditary institutions from which it supposedly broke away.

 

One America has been defended by great leaders who are too often identified by their untimely deaths while in office, who consistently advanced anti-colonial visions for a world of sovereign nations, win-win cooperation, and the extension of constitutional rights to all classes and races both within America and abroad. The other America has sought only to enmesh itself with the British Empire’s global regime of finance, exploitation, population control and never-ending wars.

A year and a half on from Blood On The Dance Floor‘s Dahvie Vanity (aka Jesus David Torres) being accused of sexual assault of multiple women, several of which were underage, To Catch A Predator‘s Chris Hansen is saying he’s investigating the musician.

Hansen says in a new video on his YouTube channel regarding his investigation into YouTube personality Onision that he’s got Vanity on his radar as well.

Back in 2018, an exposé with MetalSucks detailed accounts of several women coming forward sharing their experiences with Torres, some of which used pseudonyms to protect their identities. The history of the allegations began in 2006 with some victims being as young as 13 at the time of their assaults.

Huffington Post then posted an article detailing nearly two dozen scenarios of Vanity sexually assaulting women.

 

Following the multiple reports on the situation, Blood On The Dance Floor’s merch store on Big Cartel was pulled from their site.

 

Then, HuffPost wrote another article on the topic bringing the total number of potential victims from 16 to 21.

 

The majority of the allegations say that Torres forced them to perform oral sex. Of the women coming forward at the time, some said Torres wouldn’t let them stop until their “mouths bled”. The other seven women reported that Torres either molested or raped them.

 

Shortly after that, Spotify took their music down from the streaming service as well.

 

HuffPost contacted Spotify about having BOTDF tracks available before the removal. The company ended up confirming that their music was taken off for violating its guidelines on prohibited content.

 

Now, Hansen is confirming he’s going to look into Vanity himself.

 

In the video, he talks about the ongoing investigation into Onision and mentions he is planning to look into Vanity.

Libya: Advanced Chinese MANPADs Spotted In GNA Forces

 

Forces loyal to the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) have reportedly received advanced man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADs).

 

On June 28, Twitter user Ouais Hasairi shared photos showing GNA fighters inspecting what appears to be Chinese-made MANPADs of the QW-1 series. Experts suggested that the MANPADs was either QW-1M or more advanced QW-18.

 

QW-1 series MANPADs are “all-aspect” missile systems. It means they can be launched against an aerial target in a tail-chase engagement, in a head-on engagement or in a side-on engagement, from any direction.

 

The QW-1, QW-1M and QW-18 are all guided by infrared homing heads and have an operational range of up to 5 km and a flight ceiling of 4 km.

 

Twitter user Ouais Hasairi claimed that the MAPNPADs had been supplied by Turkey, which boosted its support for the GNA in the last few months. Turkish military assistance grows in response to Egyptian preparations for a possible intervention in support of the Libyan National Army.

 

However, GNA forces’ organisation is weak enough. Their supply of such advanced weapons, that can also engage civilian airliners, is a dangerous move. In the years following the fall of the Ghaddafi regime, the U.S. spent large amounts of money to collect and destroy the MANPADs left by the former Libyan military. Now this dangerous weapon is back in Libya.

On June 27, the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) occupied a number of government buildings in the northeastern city of al-Hasakah, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

 

The Kurdish-led group took control over the buildings of the following institutions:

 

The General Administration for Grains;

The General Electricity Company in al-Hasakah;

The Sports City;

The Youth Housing Complex;

The Syrian Informatics Society;

The Directorate of Industry, Tourism and Environmental Affairs;

The Traffic Branch;

The Directorate of Civil Registry;

The Commercial Bank.

 

Employees of the institutions mentioned above told SANA that they had been forced out of the buildings. SDF fighters blocked entrances and deployed guards at the gates. On June 28, the employees organized a sit-in to protest against the buildings seizure. However, the SDF didn’t back down.

 

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed the incident. According to the monitoring group, the SDF occupied the buildings by orders of U.S. forces, who are planning to increase their presence in al-Hasakah city.

 

This provocative step by the SDF will definitely damage the relations with the Damascus government. The relations between the two sides have improved in the wake of the Turkish invasion of northeastern Syria last year. Currently, the U.S. is pressuring the SDF to keep it away from Damascus.
