After the slaves in Brazil were freed in 1888 they built the Favela's that you see today.
25% of Brazil's population live in these Favela's.
Human rights watch estimates that in the United States 1 death occurs for every 37,000 arrests.
In Rio, that number is 1 death in every 23 arrests.
Those that act on emotion will disregard these stats…but to the logical ones:
