Old cranky fuck here.

I have lived in Asia for over two decades. Spent quite a few years as a younger man studying the Mahayana Buddhist tradition(s) in particular, even going so far as to live in a temple for the better part of a year.

My conclusion is that what you're going on about is very seductive intellectually for certain kinds of minds.

Most practicing Buddhists don't give two shits about any of that. They are content if they can keep suffering to a minimum and live out decent lives just like anybody.

The fact is that if you practice "no thinking" for too long and too often, you will eventually suffer brain damage. This is a result of neuroplasticity. You should look this up.

Meditation should primarily be about moment to moment awareness of all physical and mental states, a practice of watching with pronounced detachment, i.e. "There is anger" instead of "I am angry". This does not require a cushion. It can be done anywhere, anytime, and thoughts are just fine; they are observed just as any other "weather" by the "Watcher".

Seriously, Buddhist meditation practices irresponsibly applied can cause insanity. I have seen it. Cessation of thinking is NOT in any way a component of "attaining" anything worthy of attainment.

We are all psychical repeaters. That means that our minds all both receive and transmit. Collective mental activity impacts physical manifestation.

The best way to fight is with how you keep your mind.

  1. No porn, nor any other "entertainment" that (((they))) produce for your consumption. You've had enough to know what it's for, what it does, and all of that. Cut it out of your life.

  1. Eat as simply as you possibly can. No factory foods if you can help it. This anon bakes sourdough bread which he eats with olive oil, vegetable salads and curries, hempseed, the occasional fish. Usually no more than one meal a day. You don't need more than one meal a day, and you don't need a huge variety of food. The basics always suffice.

  1. Pray and meditate.

  1. Recognizing what a premium (((they))) put on your attention, once you have starting refusing to pay it to (((their))) productions, start paying it elsewhere. Pay attention only to things that matter to you, your loved ones, the affairs of your daily life.

  1. Charge your attention with intention. Your intentionality, properly coupled with your pure and unfettered attention, is a weapon that (((they))) actually do fear, and have gone to great lengths to prevent becoming a threat to their control.

In short, live as simply as possible, as purely as possible, and devote as much mental energy as you can to imagining, and intending, the kinds of outcomes that we all fight for.

Even if the internet itself gets knocked offline, you can still take the fight to them at any moment of the day, and even in your sleep at night.

Pray for guidance, and listen for the Answers.

God bless you and yours, Anon.
