We can't disconnect from China, seriously we don't make 90% of the electrical components needed to produce anything.
Radio Shack closing was a painful blow to DIY'ers.
I've literally halted all of my projects because I either can't get from within the USA or can only get it from China… Been to Mouser or Allied Electrical lately and looked at some of the back logs to get chips/MOSFETS etc.
This is why the military have been so concerned about China for a very long time.
Where do we get most of our ammo or powders for the ammo? I've got bad news for you, ain't the USA.
