Any time child sex abuse occurs by anyone outside of the immediate family, it is human trafficking. Inside the family it is still very wrong and inhumane … but is given another name.

The only reason for those students to reside in the US was because their education required it. But since there is no need for them to be on campus anymore, there is no need for them to reside in the US anymore, either.
