oh… yeah… not exactly what i meant. i found the original newspaper article, too. what i tried to dig on was the source of the story and any follow-up actual research publications in the years that followed, and was baffled by the total absence of any.
"heard" that ONE actual positive test result ends up being REPORTED as 17 new cases, based upon the ASSUMPTION that the patient "probably" infected that many others.
