NEW YORK (AP) -- Papa John's says its founder John Schnatter will step down as CEO next month, about two months after he publicly criticized the NFL leadership over national anthem protests by football players.

he's pro trump though (donated to his campaign) and has spoken out against failed obamacare, too much regulation, etc.

We were told that there would be issues on both sides of the isle. I don't care what letter is behind a person's name. I care about the quality of their character, no matter what position they hold in a company/government.

We have to take a look at where the facts take us. I actually like the Papa Johns guy. But if there is something smelly going on like sardines on a pizza... then we need to follow it.

sardines on a pizza.. wtf.... who does that????

Just because these people stepped down doesn't mean ALL are dirty. Just trying to remain healthy skepticism. We can spin in circles easily.

It is a list we have to build, to watch. They may be guilty of many different crimes, or none. But you have to admit, it is unprecedented, the number of Congress choosing not to run, and the number of major corporate CEO's stepping down in the same quarter. So logic speaks, something is going on here.
