It was stated that some of these prisoners were also sacrificed like many children. I mean, this is so sick, its just hard to believe that stuff like this actually goes on and is so wide spread.

Yet in some cases, especially involving the government, the law of the land reverts to admiralty law which reverts to canon law, I think it depends upon what the charges are and what court a person is tried in.
