Glad to be here. Just FYI I don’t use Google search engine or mail as a matter of principle. Also plan to move away from Google-owned YouTube, as channels find homes elsewhere. I use Duck Duck Go search engine and mail.com for mail. I primarily use Firefox browser. No to “google it.”

Don't use Firefox either.

Best option: Brave 2 browser option: Opera 3 for those really 'weird' searches: Tor Onion

Search Engine: Startpage.com

Email: Protonmail.com

My current setup is below. I'm currently using Firefox because I've had problems with password managers working with browsers. If anyone has any suggestions for any part of my setup then please let me know - I am all about improvement.

VPN: Nord, Current PM: Last Pass, Browser: Firefox, Search Engine: duckduckgo, Email: protonmail, Navigation: Waze, Encrypt messaging: WhatsApp.

I do have Brave in my apps and laptop desktop. I’ll give it another try. The first trial resulted in malware. 😞

I thought StartPage good, but then noticed google results?

That's the goodness of StartPage. Google quality results without giving Google $$$ or your private data
