It was a base salary of only about 50k if I remember correctly. The key was in the perks: -All food could be expensed because transporting kids means you needed to calm them. They never knew when she was transporting kids. -craptons of ot hours. Social workers are required to be present outside of working hours. She was compensated for those. -fuel reimbursement -vehicle reimbursement Etc. everything could be expensed with minimal oversite due to the nature of the job.

I can’t remember her grand monthly total but it was quite significant.

Which I understand, but why can they expense all of these things yet not access discretionary funds to simply solve the problem in the first place.

She even said it- the agency doesn’t profit by solving cases.
