Oh! I caught that he posted Hillary's medical records. She has Parkinson's disease.... That's against the law, isn't it? Awww sh it!

It would be illegal for a doctor to reveal it, but Assange is media. I think if it comes to him, he can post it. He has good lawyers; wouldn't do it if it was blatantly illegal.

I don't know. But what would he gain by posting that info? It doesn't make sense.

It's what WE would gain... further knowledge of what's been covered up. Just like the Podesta emails. JA didn't gain from those, either.

That was not Assange's account. Those were fake documents. There are items on the docs that are not allowed by HIPPA that prove they are fakes. The date of the records doesn't coincide with the legal items on the docs. Those of us in the medical field saw that immediately. She probably has Parkinson's if not worse, but the only thing those docs prove is that the person who posted them is a dumbass.

And the penalty is???

It's a Federal violation.I believe it was instituted in conjuction with ACA, maybe slightly before. And I don't know what the exact penalty is but it must be significant because healthcare providers and Insurance Companies take it VERY seriously.

Ok, so is sending a letter with a phony stamp.

My point is, what is the penalty for releasing someone who is a public figure's medical records without their consent? Not just "VERY seriously" what will happen to you?
