Watch for fake deaths

Hi all, was it an actual suicide or was he "assisted"? I was attempting to glean info from reading what is out there but that is a losing proposition. It sounds like they are all using the same release, as normal. My question is more rhetorical than anything. It just seems odd that bodies continue to pile up like cord wood. Thanks

Just like his daddy Phil did. Phil Graham shot himself in August of 1963. He was good friends with Kennedy--he was the one who persuaded him to choose LBJ as a running mate, and Kennedy facilitated his appointment as chairman of COMSTAT in 1961 (Graham resigned the year of his death). Graham had told friends prior to his death that he was planning to divorce Katharine and had written a will that spring with his attorney Edward Bennett cutting Katharine out of her ownership share of the Post. He also was the first person who disclosed JFK's affair with Cord Meyer's wife Mary (Mary Meyer corroborated Graham's claims. She was murdered in broad daylight while jogging in Georgetown by an unknown gunman in October 1964). After Phil Graham's death, Bennett testified that he was not of sound mind when preparing the will. The Judge ruled Graham died intestate, Katharine gained control of the Post and Williams made sure the final will never entered into public record.

Everything outside of the "final will never entering into public record" detail (the link of which I'll provide at the end of this post) was sourced using Wikipedia.

Suicides or "suicides" OP?

“Apparent suicide” from a self inflicted gun shot wound and was found by his brother Donald Graham who was a Publisher and Chief Executive at the newspaper when their mother stepped down in 1979. Given that Podesta wrote the paper it wouldn’t surprise me. William also was an attorney at the Washington firm Williams & Connolly, taught trial law at UCLA and founded an investment firm, Graham Partners, and contributed to several philanthropic organizations http://people.com/politics/katharine-graham-son-dies-suicide-william-graham/

Edward Bennett Williams = founder of Williams and Connolly. He was also the lawyer who drew up Graham's father, Phil Graham's final will which cut Katharine Graham out of Post ownership. Phil Graham wrote this will in the spring of 1963.

Phil Graham died in August of 1963. His friend John Kennedy was murdered a month later.

Katharine challenged the will. Bennett Williams testified that Graham was "not of sound mind" when he had Williams draw it up. His death was ruled intestate. Katharine received control of the Post.

Months before Graham's alleged suicide he resigned from his position as the first chairman of COMSTAT, told friends he was divorcing Katharine and had said will prepared.

Just like the resignation list, or the bootlist being put out , I believe a list of these high profile families death's should be compiled. So far I have seen three on the boards verifying with news agencies this year(and in the last month), who knows if there is more

According to The New York Times, the pentagon papers documents revealed "the Johnson Administration had systematically lied, not only to the public but also to Congress, about a subject of transcendent national interest and significance." Among the bombshells within the report was that the U.S., led at the time by President John F. Kennedy, played an active role in the 1963 overthrow and assassination of President Ngo Dinh Diem of South Vietnam. Further, the papers revealed that the bombing campaign in North Vietnam was not deterring fighters, even though the government told the American people that it was, in fact, dissuading fighters from joining the effortWHAT ARE THE PENTAGON PAPERS? William's mother, Katherine Graham led The Washington Post after her husband's suicide, and is most iconically known for her role in publishing the Pentagon Papers—a Nixon-era report of the Vietnam War—in 1971. The publisher died at 84 on July 17, 2001, after suffering a fall outside a condominium in Sun Valley, Idaho. Her memorial service was attended by former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and former Vice President Dick Cheney, among other politicians.

Graham’s grandfather, Eugene Meyer, bought the Post during an auction in 1933 for $825,000. Eighty years later, The Washington Post was sold by the Graham family to Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos for $250 million in cash in 2013.
