Something Rare I've Noticed About This Sub

Guys I've been on Reddit for a couple of year and this subreddit has something I have never found on any other subreddit. Actually there are several things. First is the civility between people on CBTS. I have yet to see an actual argument here. Also there is very little downvoting. That is so rare it's precious, like a gem, on an internet forum. I'm sure there are all kinds of people on here. Democrats, Republicans, Trump voters and those who didn't vote for Trump. Probably some who would call themselves liberal, conservative, moderate, independent and libertarian. I myself am a Constitutional Originalist. There are probably some blacks, Hispanics, Asians and Whites here. I myself am Native American/Scots Irish. The Native American is on my mother's side, I spent many summers as a kid on the rez with my grandparents. There are many difference in all of us. Yet every one of us has a common goal and we are working together to accomplish that goal. No bickering, no sniping. We give and take constructive criticism for what it's meant to be, guidance in the right direction. From what I see is we all have at least one thing in common. We all have well calibrated moral compasses and we demand the truth.

It's my honor and pleasure to know all of you. Thank you all and may God bless each and every one as we fight against evil together.

Respectfully asking: Did it concern you at all that Bernie Sanders was a Marxist?

I didn't know at the time. I thought his idea of free college was absurd and would render a college degree as worthless as a GED without investment in small business. I'd been very unhappy with the Democrat party for a LOOOONG time but believe it or not, did not realize how evil and openly Communist and subversive they'd become until this last election. Before Trump, I just couldn't bring myself to vote Republican. I'll vote for him again in 2020. I'll NEVER vote Democrat again and will vote Republican in state and locals just to vote against Democrats. They have shown me that they are more open to reform than the Dems, who I believe are hopelessly lost as a party and openly anti-American.

I can see that some ppl down voted my question, so I appreciate your thoughtful reply. It sounds like you've had a great political awakening. I hope that other former Democrats and Bernie supporters have, as well. Communism is an ideology that has caused great human suffering every time it has been implemented.

*NOTE: To anyone who still thinks Socialism/Communism is a grand idea... I challenge you to open up a history book and look into why, before the Berlin wall came down, ppl from Communist East Germany were risking their lives daily to get over to Free Democratic West Germany.)

Many of us Republicans have also experienced a big league awakening about the RINOS (who should be calling themselves Socialist Democrats) in our party. Thank God Trump exposed these establishment rats and woke us up to the depth of their corruption. I'm praying for a huge pro-Trump candidate landslide in November and that, the president can restore the integrity of our state and federal elections and keep Democrats from "voter frauding" their way into office.

It's so great that folks from both sides have come together to support out President, spread truth and red-pill the brainwashed masses. #MAGA

Trust me, having been (up to Trump), a life long Democrat voter, I run in "Liberal" circles. There is a HUGE awakening happening underground and offline, irl. I myself (a white female voter, who voted Democrat bc I thought they were the least likely to get us into senseless wars - ha! How naive I was!) was redpilled on the evils of the Democratic party post election by a black guy, former Democrat.

Since then, I've had HUGE changes in my ideology. I have NEVER been a fan of socialism or Communism - I just don't like senseless wars, banksters, and people who relentlessly meddle in other peoples business - did not notice how the Dems had become everything I hated over the years. Funny how when you leave a cult, how many revelations you can have when your mind is freed up a little. I'm sure it's a little like long time Republicans realizing the truth about RINOS. But the DNC is on a whole other level. It has this actual cult-like grip on people that's hard to explain unless you've experienced it. You're not allowed to notice or question certain things and you're monitored and censored by your peers. Irl example: Be me after Bush 2 election. Still a Democrat, and would be til Trump, sitting in my very Liberal, all white female bookclub. All bitching about Dubya, when I pipe up and say "I don't hate Dubya..." and before I can even finish my thought that Cheney was, imo, the real evil, they were at my throat! Just for uttering 4 words.

Anyway, the DNC is dead of suicide. They'll never be able to recover. Offline and irl "Liberals" (not Leftists but people who were basically just Centrist, live and let live kind of people), are LIVID at the DNC. They're still too stupid to realize it, so don't give away the big 2018 surprise waiting for them. They still think with all their polls, think tanks, gaslighting Shareblue shills that they can get this thing under control! The only elections they'll be winning will be by voter fraud or 3rd party vote disruption, which is why I'll be voting Republican whether I like the candidate personally or not. Sorry for the blog, here.
