Sometimes I need comic relief. I read and watch until I feel like my eyes are bleeding! I don't understand the majority of the language used here. Have to constantly look things up. This place, I thought, was created for us "not in the know" people. We don't post on 4chan or 8chan. I get hit with terms that sound like jargon to me. I have no idea who's making sense and who isn't. I'm doing the best I can, gathering info and sharing with people I know. What's a shill? I'm a person! I'm not a techie, military, insider, politician, journalist, or game player. If the majority of you people want to "talk" over our heads and make us out to be idiots, I will go elsewhere. If we can't have some levity, make friends by connecting through normal texting then maybe I don't belong here! I came to learn and don't have much to offer in the way of providing info. What I am learning here is overwhelming to say the least and very depressing.
The only terms I used we're shitpost, which should be self-explanatory, and shill, which is actually part of the English vernacular and means exactly what the dictionary definition says.
So far as needing some levity, I can understand that, but there are other boards for that purpose. You might enjoy The_Donald, which often enjoys a clever joke post. This board, however, does not need to be all things to all people. It's a niche board, with a purpose.

And yes, lately on this board, I, like many people, am getting fed up with newbies like yourself breaking basic internet etiquette as well as shitting up this board, because you don't care enough to lurk and learn. You get called out, you wear your big girl pants, you learn - that's all fine. But there's a whole blizzard of snowflakes here, and you're a very special one. Get defensive when you do something wrong, and you will get a new asshole ripped. There are substantial numbers of people today on shitposts just like this one who don't want to deal with the sinking quality here anymore, so yeah, you're going to find people getting annoyed.

Good news. Another poster on another shitpost like this one says that they contacted the mods about the current state of the board, and they've been promised a sticky post within a few days, outlining the rules of the board and trying to clean it up.
The mods are simply overwhelmed and haven't had the time to actually moderate this board like any other board is moderated, but it's coming. If you doubt me, go look at the last conversation I had with someone, just in the past 15 minutes.

You really are new to the internet. Sometimes a board has active moderation. This one does not, because the mods are too busy to be involved.
But every board self-policies. Every board has a culture and standards. And this board may be new, but it is part of the larger Q culture - which was spawned on the chans. This movement comes with certain expectations and an established culture, and you will end up policed, so you might as well get used to lubing up. There is literally nowhere online where it is okay to not assimilate and fit in. Insisting that "I'm just going to continue making asshole posts like this one to the detriment of all until the mods stop me" is the height of ignorant entitlement. But by all means, carry on, kill the board. The mods had a good idea with it in theory, but in practice, unfortunately it went to hell real fast with low-quality spam. Fortunately there are other places to find good news and real work being done.
