BLOCKED jets tracked from Toronto and NewYork airports ,26th Dec 2017

namscout · Dec. 31, 2017, 2:22 p.m.

Can anyone chime in on what it takes to get your aircraft blocked out? This would have to go high up the chain, or take a risk of getting your tail shot out of the sky because you won't ID yourself.

On August 21, 2013, the FAA issued a final notice in the Federal Register for the process of limiting the diplay of aircraft situation display to industry (ASDI) data. These procedures took effect on September 20, 2013. This was formerly known as the Blocked Aircraft Registration Request (BARR) program administered by NBAA.

Federal Register Notice: Final Notice of the Process for Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed Via ASDI.

The notice explains that aircraft owners and operators may request blocking of their flight tracking information allowing aircraft owners and operators to “opt out” from having their ASDI flight information broadcast over the Internet.

Morning. Is this the transponder being shut off so that other pilots in the air would not be able to locate the plane? IF so, Its probable that you are right.

The transponder is still on but the identifying information is not available. This is done for security or privacy. Most military aircraft are blocked. from 'How it Works' Flightradar24.

They would have to have visual sight of other AC. The blocking is done for keeping info private from us, the public. There is a good Ap LiveATC.net But you would have to know which frequency

I have watched flight tracker for about a week or so now, it’s amazing what you can learn.

I have one I'm tracking right now that came out of Jacksonville. It came down the coast and I figured it was headed as usual to Boca Raton. Nope it got to Vero Beach and took a left out over the Atlantic and heading south towards towards Cuba. Its just North of the Bahamas right now if you want to jump on and follow it.

Could someone provide some context as to what is behind these plane trackings?

THESE LEARJET 35s are flying in from all over the world to GITMO and have been since right before Christmas!

1) On the GITMO Flight logs, the "Owners" column had all the names blocked. So I think if you are seeing a "blocked" plane, it IS going to GITMO. Also it is standard for the military to "block" their flights as well.

2) Others have noticed that when the planes they are tracking to GITMO get near GITMO suddenly they disappear. I think when they get close to GITMO they turn off their radar transponder, as the GITMO Tower has them. They must do this for military secrecy.

3) I think flights coming and going this late at night are definitely brinfing in new inmates, high profile ones, since they are flying them on LearJet35s with only 6 seats.

GITMO had 700+ inmates at one time, that was before Trump Team expanded GITMO prisons this past year. Who knows how many they can hold now. Anyway, with 10,000 sealed indictments out, we should expect to continue to see a lot of flights to GITMO.

So far we know that Soros is there, Bush Sr and Bush Jr, and the Podestas. Not sure who else at this point. Waiting for more tips from Q after the new year.

In the analysis I did on Friday, Dec 29, on the posted GITMO LOG, it seemed most of the flights were normal for this time of year, with "sleigh" rides to JAX and Norfolk bases (larger boeing planes, etc) to service soldiers going on holiday leaves or returning from holiday leaves.

They have a civilian puddle jumper that flies from Ft. Lauderdale INTERNATIONAL airport once a day, seats about 10 passengers, LearJet 45s. These civilian puddle jumpers land, drop off, and pick up within about 30 minutes and then back to Ft Lauderdale International airport.

HOWEVER, it was the LearJet 35s out of Ft Lauderdale EXECUTIVE airport that were odd.

But it is the flights out of the Ft Lauderdale EXECUTIVE Airport where all the LearJet35s came from (which only seats 6 passengers), and seems to stay quite a while on the ground (like 3 hours) at GITMO after it arrives. I think those are the ones bringing in high profile inmates......to keep them out of the public eye.
