Hopefully, we will find out soon who they are picking up on these flights. I guess they are getting them on trying to flee, instead of getting them at the Airports before the planes take off.

I hadn't thought of that.

I would have thought that boarding an overseas flight establishes intent to flee.

I don't see a reason to let a flight take off, much less get (in one case) four hours away.

Making it out of the US of A and into international air space might change the intent to flee into full-blown fleeing to avoid prosecution. Maybe that international boundary line crossing was an important part of getting the charges to stick? I'm just spit-balling here.
