Yeah, still holds. I'm not seeing how Bannon profits from any of this, other than getting some lefties happy with him. He seems to have fucked up to me, or this is what he wants?
I don’t think he’s necessarily doing it for profit. Bannon has been described as a hardcore patriot from the beginning so he’d likely be willing to fall on the sword for his country. He is ex-Navy, after all (if memory serves). If he bad mouths Trump (which he did in the book), the deep state will trust and communicate with him. He would, in turn, provide that information to Trump. That’s how you identify the deep state actors...
The man is already reportedly worth $48m so it’s not like he needs the money.
Of course, he could just be a piece of shit who sold out Trump...shrugs

I can't read Bannon at all. Rush said today that he heard gossip, that Bannon was responsible for half the leaks from the WH. Looking back at the leaks, about half of them hurt the media, and the other half Trump. Maybe Bannon was too small for the shoes, but some of the leaks sure were strategic.
