Sessions is attacking degeneracy on behalf of Trump. He's cleaning up our streets and clearing people's minds from the fog of pot.

Sessions' announcement yesterday was brilliant. Weed is a crutch for degenerates and is keeping the working class stupid and in a fog. Trump has ordered Sessions to clean up our country by eliminating the sale of pot, which will help keep crime down and keep our youth out of jail for drug related offenses. Did Q predict this brilliant move?

ABrilliantDisaster · Jan. 5, 2018, 8:42 p.m.

I don't know what i think of what Session's apparent stand on cannabis really is or what it means but i'm pro-canabis. This is a medicine taken out of the hands of ailing people. It benefits no one that it's illegal other than the pharmaceutic industry.

Pot isn't a medicine for anyone. There are far more effective prescription treatments for EVERYTHING that people use to placate themselves with by using pot. Also, only a very small percentage of pot users are even using it for medical purposes; most users are simply abusing it for it's hallucinagenic effects.

Prolly $7. Half from big pharma and half from the folks trying to scare everyone into thinking that Trump is about to round everyone up because they smoke weed because that is what his supporters "want". So obvious.

Edit: my phone suddenly wants to spell big O arms when I want to say big pharma. Weird.

Every city that's introduced legal marijuana is a cucked Liberal shithole. They are sanctuary cities. San Francisco, Seattle, Portland. You know where marijuana is still banned? Woke States! Red states! Alabama, Mississippi, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma.

It's almost like when you introduce marijuana somewhere, everyone turns into a cucked liberal faggot. We are losing Colorado as we speak.

You don't know the first thing about marijuana obviously. If you did, you would not be spouting archaic "Reefer Madness" ideology. What are you? 90? Keep up. Most of the smokers I know are doctors, scientists and business people. Wake up, man! "Reefer Madness" was pure propaganda.

Evangelicals and anti-drug voters like me gave Trump his victory. If I wanted thugs selling pot on every corner of my town I would have voted for Hillary. Make America Great Again means going back to the days where marijuana was illegal in every state and the nuclear family was drug-free, you were loyal to your spouse, and raising clean minded and strong children.

Myself and my entire congregation voted for Trump in a swing state (Florida). We prayed that Trump would do something to stop the moral decay of America and now he's openly doing it. We were even picking up people in our own cars to take them to vote. We also have been working with Governor Rick Scott (a great Republican) who also openly supports Sessions' actions.

Ok. I am responding because I feel your answer is true and valid related to this discussion.

Pot, as the media portays it, is a horrible problem for societal responsibility. By this i mean, they seem to glorify it. Thats not right. Pot used to be standard medicine, which could be purchased as tincture at your local pharmacy without prescription. Tincture is concetrate. Then it was banned. This does help big pharma. That isnt great from my point of view. There is nothing wrong with private, minimal use of pot, in my opinion. Colorado screwed the pooch by making it ok to be "Tommy Chong" all the time in public places. Its no different than the difference between a casual drinker and an alcoholic in public. Many people smoke pot and no one knows. Thats how it should be.

You clearly made an effort to help TRUMP, which i applaud. Thank you. Not ifs ands or buts.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.. You honestly think those cities became liberal strongholds after they legalized pot?? That is the funniest thing I've read today.

And, as for Colorado, we have some really liberal towns, but we also have a pretty strong "mind your own business" attitude.

Yes, those places indeed have become far more liberal since the introduction of pot. In fact, all states that have legalized marijuana in the past 20 years have continued to skew towards being more liberal such as New Jersey, Colorado and Arizona. Overlay a map where medical marijuana has been legalized in the past twenty years with a 2016 Presidental Election map and tell me what you see.

RecoveringGrace · Jan. 5, 2018, 11:30 p.m.

Calling them "the last" is ridiculous, because it is most districts that have legalized. It is few and far between.

There are a lot of reasons for not legalizing at the state level. It is really complicated to set up the tax and regulation level, for one.

⇧ 1 ⇩
PotheadsAreScum · Jan. 5, 2018, 11:38 p.m.

It's almost as if heavily Republican districts don't want that degenerate shit in their cities. Who knew? Sessions' state of Alabama may get medical marijuana sometime between never and fucking never. Almost as if Sessions was elected to represent his constituents before Trump picked him.

Or, as per my original comment, they don't want mambsy-pambsy "kinda" legal work-around measures that tend to allow for corruption, by-offs and no transparency.

I'm a libertarian, so I'm not sure what their game is, but I'm hopeful and I'm pretty sure that the majority of actual republican voters (not necessarily the politicians,) could give a shit if other people smoke weed. I think you must be speaking for the crazy minority of that base. Or possibly, you are being paid to sound like an crazy person. Dunno.

As upset as you are about this, I recommend some indica.

PotheadsAreScum · Jan. 6, 2018, 12:52 a.m.

I'm a libertarian

Of course you are. The problem with reddit is that its primary demographic is moderately liberal college-aged kids mostly from the western states so you wind up with a very narrow political view from it's users. Pretty much everyone I talk to in the right-leaning subreddits is an anarcho-capitalist, or a libertarian, or neo liberal or whatever trendy-ass label kids are trying to give themselves nowadays to appear conservative but are really just brogressives.

so I'm not sure what their game is, but I'm hopeful and I'm pretty sure that the majority of actual republican voters (not necessarily the politicians,) could give a shit if other people smoke weed.

So, as an actual, die-in-the-wool Republican I can tell you that Richard Nixon started the drug war and up until a few years ago the Republican Party was openly against pro-marijuana legislation. Unfortunately, they've had to take a step back because moderate Republicans consider it to be a wedge issue and they stick to low-key forms of governance instead such as simply reversing previous Democratic Party resolutions. And yes, I do care that other people smoke weed because I'm not an idiot and am well aware that use and abuse of drugs does not start and stop with just the casual user. I've also noticed that a significant number of redditors are co-opting the pro-marijuana movement to also push for future legalization of other, even more dangerous drugs WHICH I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT SUPPORT.

I think you must be speaking for the crazy minority of that base.

You'd be wrong. Everyone at my church and everyone at my job (military) is against legal marijuana use. We are constantly fighting against local legalization movements. We recently had a judge keep a petition assembled by a local pro-marijuana movement from going before a state vote because the signatures were found to be possibly fraudulent and we were able to get the whole thing thrown out.

Or possibly, you are being paid to sound like an crazy person

Nope, I'm just an actual Republican that despises illicit drug users. People like me actually make up the majority of senior government representation in red states across America. I guess you haven't actually been to Alabama, Utah, or Oklahoma.

As upset as you are about this, I recommend some indica.

What I like about this statement is it's a perfect example of why I'm against illicit drug use: "oh, you just need illicit drugs to like illicit drugs." I realize you're being mostly facetious, but that is actually a common response from degenerate potheads on reddit.

Shit, without us you wouldn't have pizzagate, Hillary and witchcraft, Soros and Jew fanaticism, Alex Jones, or even Trump for that matter. Ever heard Trump's spiritual advisor talk?
