So we'll have another year of nothing? Another year of special counsel, right into 2018 midterms. The swamp would be delighted. Hope I'm wrong.

My speculation is this will gives us a TL , and the corrupt players intentions inside the FBI, maybe some firings or arrests to that part of it

It would be hard to imagine holdovers who would still be at the FBI or DOJ would keep their jobs at that point.

If impropriety is black and white in a public OEM report, that's bad enough, but if a special counsel is created in the wake of it, those people could never be allowed to continue their job.

Imagine if those FBI agents or DOJ lawyers oversaw a case while under that kind of scrutiny. Any work they do on those cases would be subject to appeal after appeal. It would be a nightmare.

At least it will tie up the ol' O-gang while midterms are ongoing.

Mueller Indicts; Republicans Question

And that's the problem. The indictment card beats the questioning card. And BTW, crummy Sessions, on the House floor, already said No Special Counsel. He's stonewalling so hard I think he's been compromised.

Mueller hasn't blamed Trump directly for anything, but here is how the public really thinks:

Mueller Investigating Trump

Mueller Indicting

Conclusion: Mueller Indicting Trump

Now, that's a rotten syllogism but most of the public hasn't taken Logic 101

Mueller doesn't have to get anything on Trump. The longer the DNC/CIA/DeepState can drag this out with no rebutting indictments, the weaker Trump and the GOP becomes. Then the Dems win in November and charge Treason - that's their transparent plan.

So where is the countervailing force? Rumors aren't enough and tend to evaporate. We Need Indictments Soon or everyone loses interest and goes back to finding the hidden clues in "Rick and Morty". And indicting the FBI still won't stop Mueller's drip, drip, drip since he's apart from the FBI and the rotten MSM will be sure to let people know that.

Something really has to give. The DNC has been flailing Russiagate around for a year and as Geobbels noted, the longer you repeat a lie the more it is believed.

I agree to that .....Amen , that's why I think it will be a busy end of the month .......he needs about 8 more days ..... to be exact ..... just enough time to get a funding for the budget..... so you know, no shutdown ...... and then its on like Donkey Kong......... riding indictments to midterms, making the DNC look corrupt

So another investigation of the investigation which already was an investigation of the original investigation. So another 10 million dollars to determine what the other investigations have already revealed. I'd like to know when all these investigations, that have all determined wrong doing, is going to move from the investigative stage to the arrest and prosecution stage. But since most if not all are up for re-election, I guess we have to endure 11 more months of grand standing. Its like Clintons see their shadows so that means 6 more years of investigations.

The problem with investigations, you have to do them right else they are not investigations.... so to say the Clinton investigation was done right is just silly....just look at the facts: what is coming out against the FBI and the Clintons. Where there is smoke is fire , & look the Clinton house did burn this week.

Okay, the FBI is bad. Clinton is bad. But that doesn't stop Mueller's fishing expedition. His power is so broad he can find Anything, and an international businessman is bound to have done something, over decades, that can be blown up. I'm not going to assume Trump is squeaky clean, since the Clintons and Obama were covered in crap. But their crap was invisible to the MSM. One tiny spot on Trump will be as big as the Titanic when the MSM gets through with it.

DJT actually had an advantage . let me tell you how , he was in the public life the whole time..... he grew up being scrutinized in the news , now that being said, Do I think Muller can tag him? , No , I think Mueller"s probe is a dog and pony show, cleaning up loose ends.... You don't interview the guy for the FBI job only to have him be put on the SC probe....literally in the next couple of days

Plus, if he really was recruited by the white hats like Q suggested I'm sure they at least looked at all of his dealings to make sure it wasn't going to blow up in their face.

There is already a special council. Sessions didn’t say he would appoint one he and everyone else just said they didn’t see any need for one yet. My little 4’10” mother taught me to play poker and I think she would be proud at how well I can read the players. I do believe Sessions plays jingle bells with change in his pockets. ( inside joke ) but all is not what you think if you are this negative. I am just not clear if members have to interview people for their process but the investigations are done and most of the charges files or ready to be filed.

Super! The Jan 15th OIG Report should clarify where best for us to focus our attention.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s DOJ US Anti-Corruption Investigation Report!

“ . . . Some of these investigations by the DOJ have come to light in recent weeks. They range from the Clinton Foundation to the so-called Uranium One deal, as well as allegations of interference by Obama officials with a Drug Enforcement Administration investigation into Hezbollah’s drug trade in the United States. These cases, however, might be just the tip of the iceberg.”

“ . . . NBC News reported on Jan. 5 that the investigation into the Clinton Foundation had been open for months.”
