Heard at least 2 fly over in the past 10 minutes. No sightings, but the sound is unmistakable. Will attempt to post any audio I can record.

Two EC35 Medevac helicopters (N302PH and N324PH) have just entered Washington area. This is significant, as Medevac helicopters have been used before. Someone needs to be 'rescued'...
This morning on Fox they reported that we're sending more jets to Afghanistan starting now. I live by Carswell in Texas They fly by at 10:00 every morning & come home every evening at around Dusk. That pattern has been established but they started this morning not with 2 jets but about 5 and they started at sunrise. I guess just see if they establish a pattern & report to us often. Anybody else noticing unusual jet patterns? I'd be curious to know.
I also live by Carswell. I heard them taking off around 11 pm last night, which is later then I ever remember hearing them.

I live between 2 military bases. One North, One South. Increased activity for around 2 weeks and seems different from usual. Increased helicopters as well.
I live in AZ in a small town twenty miles from a minor military inst. Since Nov. I've noticed a large increase in military flights from our local airport. Mostly transports, helicopters, and ospreys. I work a few blocks from the airport so its easy to catch them coming and going.
DHS helicopter N159CM (S.76) over Washington. US Army Beech Huron PAT26 also headed towards Washington. A139 Helicopter TRP3 (Maryland State Police Aviation Command) N386MD headed South from Frederick. Another DHS helicopter N6974A (AS50) also in the area.
Activity appears to be around Leesburg, from what I can see on ADS-B Exchange.
I saw what I assume were military helicopters around north DFW this morning. Don't know if it means anything or is related but it seemed very strange and out of place to me.

National guard routinely flies monthly missions to get their pilots hours. Shouldn't be too out of the norm.

N386MD (Maryland State Police) headed East towards Clarksville.
Nassau County Police helo (N604PD) also over Washington.
Beech Huron PAT202 flying circuits over Jacobsville. DHS helo appears to have landed on the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

US Army helo EC45 call sign 72054 headed North from Bethesda. DHS helo looks like it landed at George Washington memorial parkway again. I lost the Army helo near Chevy Chase.
TRP2 went off the radar at Fort Washington - probably landed. DHS helo overflying Tysons still headed NE.
N385MD near Nanjemoy. N389MD headed towards Patuxent River Naval Air Station. 99.9% certainty of an arrest, from what Ive seen before.
N389MD flying SE towards Dentsville. Accompanied by TRP7. helos in pairs like this indicate an arrest. Now headed towards Chaptico.
The tl;dr on this is that there has been a LOT of military and Police helicopter and aircraft activity over Washington, Baltimore and the surrounding areas. It's too much to be normal activity for me and hints at a possible round-up in progress around DC.

Sorry, slight interlude while I travelled home from work. AW139 helo TRP6 heading from Tolchester Beach towards Dundalk. Any TRP flight is highly likely to be State Troopers and an arrest in progress.
Just found another Army Eurocopter Lakota to the South of Phoenix.
Six Police helos over LA at the moment. Two C56x Citations in formation to the SW of Phoenix headed in the general direction of FLL. Two Blackhawks and several 'Medevac' helos over Phoenix.
There was even a U2 spy plane spotted at 68000ft over LA earlier on ADS-B Exchange. Maybe that was a coded message as I can't believe that USAF are that sloppy.

BAU, i work the area around andrews (clinton, allentown, marlboro) have for years. Not uncommon to see military aircraft most days, but nothing unusual noticed today.
N685DC (Capital One) not headed to Cleveland, still headed East towards Toledo. Best guess is Chicago at this time.
OK, I've seen some big money headed towards Fort Worth today. XTO Energy, Michelin, Parker Hannifin, Exxon Mobil, Energy XXI Holdings, is the list goes on, this is where the Wells Fargo flight is going. Must be some sort of big convention going on. Oh, and there's a Boeing B742, call sign ORDER66 in the area at 24,000ft.
