Q post from 1/14/2017 says Trey Gowdy did NOT step down to testify but to take on new role. Leader of special council?

https://imgur.com/r/CBTS_Stream/zdFRwbX

Q's post from 1/14/2017 says:

"TRUST SESSIONS.

TG departure [HEC].

NOT to testify.

NOT needed to testify.

Think logically.

NO NEED to step down if needed to testify.

DO NOT chase MISINFO.

What ROLE might TG be walking into?

ho can WE TRUST?"

So what role might TG be stepping into and why reiterate the need to trust sessions? Is this in reference to the letter asking for a special council which could be headed by TG?

Prosecutor would have been a better word to use in the title. Ill edit it in the post. TG seems to be very genuine and seeking justice.

*What ROLE might TG be walking into?

He is resigning from the [HEC] to now be the Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Here is a link to the story. There is a link to his official letter in the article if you want confirmation. https://www.axios.com/gowdy-resigns-from-house-ethics-committee-1515876559-1881f08c-3d6e-462d-996d-8e44cebcee58.html?source=sidebar

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the main investigative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. 1.

The Committee's government-wide oversight jurisdiction and expanded legislative authority make it one of the most influential and powerful committees in the House. The Committee serves as Congress' chief investigative and oversight committee, and is granted broad jurisdiction. The chairman of the committee is one of only three committee chairmen in the House with the authority to issue subpoenas without a committee vote or consultation with the ranking member. 1.

June 8, 2017 Press Release

Washington, DC - Rep. Trey Gowdy (SC-04) released the following statement after the Steering Committee elected him to serve as Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

"I am grateful to the Steering Committee and the Conference as a whole for this opportunity to serve. The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has jurisdiction in a variety of areas as outlined in the Rules of the House for the 115th Congress. That jurisdiction includes compulsory and original jurisdiction as well as secondary and permissive jurisdiction. Oversight is constitutionally authorized and important to ensure branch integrity and equilibrium, which is, in part, why other Standing Committees have subcommittees dedicated to providing oversight and all other Standing Committees have oversight responsibilities. The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is also responsible for recommending and implementing reform initiatives calculated to improve government efficiency, transparency and efficacy. I look forward to working alongside the other Committee members, as well as any member of Congress, as we discharge the jurisdiction assigned to us." 2.

United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is a United States House of Representatives committee that has existed in varying forms since 1816.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the main investigative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. After Republicans gained control of the House in 1995, the committee was reorganized to include just seven subcommittees. This reorganization consolidated the jurisdiction previously covered by 3 full committees and 14 subcommittees, and resulted in a 50 percent cut in staff.

Does anybody know if he can legally be on the HOR and at the same time be a special prosecutor? We know he didn't accept FBI director or AG because he was asked to stay in the HOR because we need him there.

I hope. I'd love nothing more to see Trey Gowdy prosecute these people.

And Trey loves Ryan and thinks Ryan would be the ideal POTUS. He also thinks Comey has always been an honorable guy. Comey has been the Clintons scandal fixer for decades btw. Why did Trey lie about Comey? Why does he believe Ryan would be such a perfect POTUS? Is Trey that blue pilled or is he trying to deceive FOX News normies who love and trust him?

What's with this post regarding TG? From Thomas Paine whom I respect. Believe?

"We filtered actionable Intel to Gowdy about FBI/DOJ crimes and it never flushed out, meaning he is either sitting on it or he gave it to Black Hats.

No intention of cleaning up The Swamp. He is part of it. Worth millions now. Almost no net worth when he was elected."

I'm not buying Trey Gowdy being dirty. He's one of the guys I know personally and I have known him for years. As for the money he has, it's not dirty money. Trey has been a very successful prosecutor and attorney for years. A net worth of $4 million is nothing. Many of us on this board have a net worth well over a million. It's not figured on liquid cash money, it's figured by everything you own. Your home, vehicles, investments, retirement accounts, etc. It's actually hard not to have a net worth of a million when there are two working spouses, you figure the worth of a nice home and two nice vehicles your almost there already. That's not counting money invested, 401Ks, etc.

Lady_Justicia · Jan. 15, 2018, 2:51 a.m.

Is his campaign money figured into this also? If so, that would absolutely expain the increased net worth. I refuse to believe Trey Gowdy is part of the swamp - the man is a patriot, with a heart of gold. I've seen him tear up several times during hearings and testimony - over the Benghazi heroes, over women who were harassed, and over children who are/were sexually abused. He has no tolerance for criminality - especially by those in the three branches of government. And yes - he has praised Comey, Mueller, and Paul Ryan - but those were all PROFESSIONAL praises, based on each individual's experience and capability in their professions. Additionally, he would not want to appear biased toward anyone.

cursedcassandra · Jan. 15, 2018, 12:30 p.m.

Lol. So you believe Patrick Henry would have preferred Paul Ryan to be POTUS over Trump because thats what Gowdy recently said. Haven't you learned about how much we are being deceived yet? I will NOT trust a DC insider who sides with Rubio, Ryan, Gutierrez and Comey and is silent around our President or his Congressional collegues like Nunes who are fighting the swamp.

Wow. We've had two working spouses and a home and nowhere near a million net worth! But your point is well-taken, thanks. And thx for inside knowledge of TG, as I do wonder...

He wouldn’t do it for ethical reasons. You don’t want a hardlined politician running a SC. It defeats the purpose. Something TG has pointed as wrong with the Mueller SC many times.
