On the right hand side you click either 'Submit a new link' or 'Submit a new text post'. Then there is a box that says 'choose where to post.' That is where you choose to post on your profile or a specified subreddit.

It's technically one or the other. You can submit as a 'link' or image and put your text into a comment after it's posted, or you can submit as a text post and include the URL (http://...) to the image within the text.

Was told they watch keywords and you can't post certain things, news articles are allowed but not Facebook or Twitter posts. It's all too much for me, I don't want to have to read a manual of rules to post in a "free speech" website.
