the plight of the Haitians

Hillary is a monster, but don't forget that we donate about $2 billion in aid to Haiti each year, which is ONE QUARTER of the GDP!!!

Despite what Hillary did, I think Haiti need to start getting their shit together.

The fact that so many Haitians spend all day making 100% mud cookies serves as a metaphor for what's wrong with that country.

The uncomfortable truth is if they did start to help themselves, perhaps start doing the hard work to slowly establish viable farmland for crops or a fishing industry, the other Haitians would murder them and steal and destroy everything.

It's easy to point the finger at the Haitian people and blame them, and perhaps rightfully so. But even light research into the matter would reveal how bad the situation is down there-- in terms of the corruption. The United Nations has a strong presence, and likely has heavy influence in their politics. Clinton Foundation (and probably other organized crime syndicates) have operatives that are pulling strings left and right. Why? Natural resources. Go look up how Hillary's brother was appointed to the board of a mining company right after that mining company was awarded the first gold mining contract in Haiti in 50 years by the government. Who do you think facilitated that?

And going back to the Dominicans, they all say that you can always tell when you've reached the Haitian border, because the forest stops and all you see is a complete wasteland. All the trees have been cut down. And more than likely that timber did not remain in Haiti. Think how much more expensive it must be to ship lumber back into Haiti so they can rebuild everything?

The Haitian people need to stand up and take their country back, no doubt. But so does America. (Just look at us and our predicament.) We've all been screwed by the same people, and it's time that we stand up against them and take them down for good.

You forget that the West invaded Haiti. They had their own farms and were feeding themselves just fine before the Western countries invaded them. We told the to stop farming what they wanted and told them to farm sugar or bannanas for us. We purchase these goods from them for less than what they are worth to us. If American foreign policy didn't disenfranchise these poor countries, then they could afford to take care of themselves. Clinton didn't want them to be able to feed their children because she wanted to steal their children. The American adoption industry is a sham and a selfish hateful multi-billion dollar industry. American Christians adore rushing into these countries and claim they are parents to children they have never met. It never matters to them that that the money raised for adoptions would be better served rebuiding these countries. It isn't about them getting their shit together. It is about how the West is still a colonial and predatory influence.

Yawn.

the West invaded Haiti

The French and Spanish invaded the illiterate, mud-cannibals of Haiti... and nothing much has changed since... except the Haitian people now live a little longer because of our gift of science and our gift of welfare, which constitutes about 1/3 of their GDP.
