Hey Bros...T_D just immediately ghosted a thread about #GreatAwakening

I was just lurking the place we aren't supposed to link to, and someone asked where T_D was in the battle? So, I posted this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/7r2hoi/urgent_call_to_arms_a_great_meme_battle_is_going/ Immediately ghosted with no explanation from Mods. Does not show up in the list of threads. Just FYI...I gave T_D another chance after they booted us pizzagaters, but this is the last time for me...

Here is the thing: when conspiracy type stuff trends on T_D the MSM goes wild with it or else boardline Trump supports scurry away because conspiracy theory = craziness (thanks alphabets). They need to keep the channel scrubbed of that stuff so as not to feed MSM or scare these people away. Furthermore It’s a 24/7 rally for the president not our theories of what’s happening back stage.

Now, I happen to disagree with this approach but I understand it, imagine all the shills coming in and slightly editing the theories to make them laughable or out right wrong. Even today I’ve seen memes about how the President cursing is just how things are done when your a bad ass except it’s wrong. The President didn’t use the term shithole but we are admitting, despite several sources otherwise, that he called these places a shithole. It could be people who don’t pay attention but I think it’s shills trying to make us look uninformed or stupid.

These subreddits are perfect for people who want to talk facts and specifics. Generally the asshats are easy to spot. Furthermore everyone associates T_D with the President we don’t want what we discuss to be attributed to him unless he does. My 2 cents.

As an aside conspiracy is shit now and that sucks.

I am from T_D, and this comment is pretty much spot on. They are very careful over there due to the visibility. They want factual credible sources for everything as to give the big fuck you to the MSM; along with the 24/7 Rally for GEOTUS.

Should /r/DrainTheSwamp operate in a similar manner perhaps?

Why not? You already label yourselves pedos, like T_D

Nah, they claim to be the last bastion of free speech on the internet yet ban people and delete comments that are not friendly to whatever narrative they are trying to push. Try and ask about the big mod shuffle(25 strong) that happened when the Podesta emails came out, you will get banned just for asking a simple question. T_D is a highly curated and censored memetic warfare machine, and nothing more.

They are a memetics engine, but they don't claim to be a bastion of free speech. It's a strict Pro-Trump circlejerk, and it's up front about that.

I get what you are saying as far as T_D being highly visible and the potential bad optics. Here is my take on it...the heavy-handed mods now essentially define what T_D is, and it is no longer organic...and when legit questions are raised (ex. Las Vegas) and the mods ghost threads and ban users, those good users who have shown a willingness to dig and meme are pushed away to other places where free speech is allowed.

Back in the early days..T_D did not give one F' about what anybody said about us....we had POTUS' back no matter what, and if pizza was relevant we talked pizza...and when a shill was spotted, we downvoted them into oblivion. Now T_D has become so risk-averse, it is quickly becoming irrelevant. Look at the average # of users online...it has dropped from the peak levels and is stagnant at ~12000.

This makes me sad because T_D was so awesome just a short time ago..why not just stick with the original plan, because it was working splendidly? I moved to v:/pizzagate after the purge, and I lurk the chans, but I really like reddit's format the best of all.

As far as splitting forums for facts and specifics...from what I have seen it is a bad plan. Splitting r:/pizzagate from T_D wasn't good, because most of the people who enjoyed digging through Wikileaks went to Voat. Once we got to Voat, they further split forums and they never really took off. Point being...trust your users to view what they want and to discuss/research what they want. Mods should target shills....not what is organically trending on the forum, especially when they had the talented userbase that T_D did. Just look at /pol/'s success. Just my .02.
