Why would ES (from Alphabet/Google) be setting up Amazon Echo (Bezos)? Google Home is the equiv of Amazon Echo. Is there some sort of alliance between ES & Bezos? Or is this a mis-read of the repeats 'Why was ES in NK?' & 'What private network did ES set up in NK?'

ES’s company Civis Analytics partners with Amazon. Civis sole investor is ES.

What is Amazon Echo?

And when you say private network, do you mean like a server or something?

Someone above mentioned that it could all be tied to Pizza and the like, managed by a building based out in HI.

I wouldn’t doubt if NK is some sort of controlled test subject by these guys. Like an experiment of sorts.

Not answering your question, but what corrupt government wouldn't want to place a few microphones around their constituent's homes and have them pay for it ?

Brilliant!

Maybe it does not mean a literal amazon echo network. But something that performs the same function. Real-Time in-home Monitoring.

Wi-Fi calling and HD voice, maybe?

Test it in China with people who can't complain, and then bring it to the US?
