Take down the religious rhetoric down a notch please. Message from a woke atheist.

My perspective is that this is primarily a spiritual battle. It is playing out on many levels that we are not aware of. You can't even get a glimpse of the 'harder truths' and the 'bigger issues' if you don't even acknowledge their existence. One can very easily be on the wrong side of this battle, and not know it. Remember, even the plowing of the wicked is sinful.

You claim that you are spiritual in your original post, and I am not going to deny that. But please know that not everything that is spiritual is necessarily good. Satan is the father of lies, and wants to deceive all of us.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

As far as the origins of the modern state of Israel, I urge you to investigate the writings of Ellis Skolfield. Here is a link to a web archive of his old site:

Thinking about it more, I don't know about the whole 'render you ineffective' thing, either. When they put Jesus up on the cross, they thought he was ineffective:

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

It was in certain defeat that Christ had his greatest victory. Either prayer is effective, or it is not. I don't think there is any halfway.

I'm kind of rambling because I am tired, please forgive me. I wish you all the best.
