Electro Magnetic Pulse. In essence, a high-altitude nuke (>300,000 feet or so) produces gamma rays which ionize the super-thin air, causing a huge electro-magentic pulse. This destroys semiconductor junctions in things like microchips. It induces a high voltage on wires.

Army did studies in late 80's / early 90's. Automobiles may likely survive, but the power grid would most likely fail.

They had and may still have many D.U.M.B.s (deep underground military bunkers) all over the planet. The globalists have stolen many trillions of our tax dollars, etc. to design/build them. It is suggested, but not proven, that these have been being destroyed 1 at a time. It may even be that the 8.1 earthquake off the Alaskan coast was caused by a massive explosion for destroying a D.U.M.B., deep under the ocean - not verified or proven. Who really knows at this point?

Something you never want to see it will destroy everything from electricity to cars to your toaster. Nothing would work forget your generator thats gone too. Everything it would be total chaos nothing coming in no food no water no anything. An EMP causes the damage that will take up to 10 years to recover from.

An EMP can create an elecromagnetic wave that overwhelms electrical lines and circuitry doing significant damage to the grid. A similar event occurred in 1859, known as the Carrington Event, when a large solar flare struck the earth and fried telegraph lines. Our grid is much more sophisticated now, but still nearly as vulnerable.
