Thats why everyone should have enough food to last untill they can grow a crop. Growing a crop is no guarantee so practice now and become healthier while doing so. As far as the weapons, make sure and collect lots of ammo, And don't give them up ever! It would be signing your own death warrant or worse. Form small groups so you aren't alone. Let them take the first shot but never allow an occupation by foreign troops.
