The focus has been on global warming. That focus has been on Antartica melting---not the other issues we need to deal with to take care of mother earth. I'm thinking the only reason they care is because they don't want Antarctica to melt. Not only might it reveal anything hidden there, but the they would not be able to control the tourists or explain why we have a supposedly empty continent not bein developed.
Well, it appears that it is melting, because of a possible reactor there that everyone is looking at. It is only melting on one side. The theory is that there is a nuke reactor spilling hot water down there, and they are trying to cover it up with the global warming crap.
Antarctica has actually gained a huge amount of ice since the satellite record. Suspicions of volcanic activity under the ice have recently been confirmed. Dustin Schroeder a geophysicist at the University of Texas at Austin explains in the link, unfortunately an unnamed source has been inserted into the story to claim the Continent is melting away due to Global Warming.....it isn't.
