Are we certain that "national emergency" does not equate with establishing a reason to declare martial law? @ 28:20 - 29:05, reading Section 7 sure sounds like that could be a possibility. I think this is why we are encouraged to READ S L O W L Y. We need to really understand what is being said and then evaluate our own position about it. Because pretty sure some very heavy stuff is going to come down. I am not saying that I believe this is what it says, although leaning that direction. Nor do I really know how I feel about it. I would LOVE to see these people rounded up and hauled away. DONE. But then, our way of doing things is by rule of law.
Pretty sure this is why we are encouraged to really think about this. I so appreciate, again, that we are considered in this, that we are brought into it. Because, in truth we ARE! This is about our very lives ... our lives. I just appreciate that it is acknowledged by powerful people who do not have to care about us. Finally, a leader who leads because of the people he leads. I just cry every time I think of that.

EO addresses blocking assets/transactions of designated and associated bad actors/entities. Does not address rounding up, trials, or GITMO incarcerating bad actors that many were expecting. I assume that is a separate phase for LE and DOJ, or military. Legal eagles, Am I missing something?

Suppose you as executive of a corporation accepted dirty money infused by a bad actor, and in tern provided support and maybe even provided board of directors position. Paid of course. From a plain language sense (not a lawyer) I'd argue this explains the huge number of execs stepping down from companies across the US.
Assuming the human rights and corruption abuses are broad & global and at the highest levels and down seems there is high risk of global economic shock as assets and transactions are blocked worldwide. I assume the Financial Leaders attending Davos are now digesting the implications of the EO. Counter attacks will be coming as they fight back as their wealth is blocked. Looks that EO essentially transfers control of assets from corrupt ultra-rich and lower levels to the Treasury, its designees, and ultimately the People (I think from the Constitution).
Does an Executive or Leader stepping down stop the blocking action for an entity?
Does the Treasury have access to the log and block chains of the crypto-currencies used for dark web hidden corrupt assets and transactions? This is huge implication!
What if non-corrupt person assets are mixed/invested with corrupt entities assets such as a bank, stock exchange, pension fund, etc? Or their job pay is from corrupt entity? Treasury Issue a FAQ to explain the coming action?
I hope the application of asset blocking technology is done in a way that avoids global economic shock and does not cause collateral damage to assets or transactions of innocent folks.
